Quality
Normanby Laboratory is a specialist in the manufacture and supply of custom made ear inserts for the NHS and private sectors across the UK and Europe.
With experience of working in an Audiology Department since 1987 and being the very first earmould technician to be manufacturing within the NHS and we are now using the knowledge and expertise gained to produce products that are always of the highest quality and fit and meet the high demands of the end use.
With an extensive background as a senior manager involved in an Audiology department Paul has a deep and thorough understanding of the nature and workings of an Audiology Department and of the NHS, Paul is highly attuned to the importance of quality and prompt turnaround times, particularly with the advent of current waiting list times for AQP and that extends right through to after sales customer care.
Expertise
Normanby Laboratory Services Limited is co-owned by Paul & Diane Lincoln, Paul’s career background was in the Audiology Department at The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
Paul was the Hearing Aid and Earmould Laboratory Manager from 1987 to 2010 and was the very first earmould technician to be employed by the NHS to manufacture earmoulds. Paul was approached over several years by other Audiology Departments to manufacture earmoulds for them and discovered that there was a demand for his services.
Normanby Laboratory Services has been awarded NHS preferred supplier status and the company is now on the NHS Supply Chain supplier list for provision of earmoulds. We manufacture an extensive range of custom earmoulds with materials that include Hard and Soft Acrylic, Biopore, Silicone and Acrylon and offer options such as different coloured glitters, picture inserts, different coloured earmoulds etc, to respond to the personal preferences of end users.
Experience
With an extensive background as a senior manager involved in an Audiology department Paul has a deep and thorough understanding of the nature and workings of an Audiology Department and of the NHS.
Diane also brings her extensive knowledge of the retail sector working in a health care environment and as Pharmacy Dispenser with one of the country’s leading high street brands and as part of her role with Normanby Laboratory she is the accounts manager and also leads the quality control team.
The current team have over 100 years combined NHS experience between them and brings the NHS ethos of standards and patient care to the company
